One test is offered in the field of Crime Scene Investigation. This test is issued once per year and allows nine weeks (shipment to Data Due Date) for analysis.
Bloodstain Pattern Analysis: 560, 561
The tests 560 and 561 are shipped at the same time and contain the same images. However, Test 560 will consist of digitally produced photographs and Test 561 will consist of digital images on compact discs. The shipment and reporting aspects of these tests are combined.
The test contains two sections: angle of impact and pattern description. The angle of impact section requires the analyst to determine the angle that blood has impacted the target surface. The pattern description section requires the analyst to recognize and describe patterns on bloodstained targets.
