Two firearms proficiency tests and two toolmarks proficiency tests are offered. Each test is issued once per year and allows nine weeks (shipment to Data Due Date) for examination.
Firearms Proficiency Tests: 526, 527
The comparison and/or identification of firearms evidence such as expended bullets, ammunition components, expended cartridge cases, etc.
Toolmarks Proficiency Tests: 528, 529
Examination of toolmarks evidence such as the comparison of a suspect tool with questioned toolmarks.

This is not an online submission of your
data; these forms must be printed and then mailed or faxed to
CTS (e-mailed data sheets will not be accepted).
