685-2018-4 Vulcanization Characteristics using Alpha Technologies Rotorless Cure Meter (MDR) or RPA

Participants receive two compounds to be tested using a Moving Die Rheometer in accordance with ASTM Test Method D5289.

Laboratories may report a number of properties including: ts1, t'10, t'50, t'90, minimum torque, and maximum torque. 

Samples are tested at 160oC and +.5o arc, and film (supplied by CTS) is used during testing. If you wish to use a Tech Pro model MDPT, please contact CTS before enrolling in this test

Total number of shipments = 4.

Samples ship in January, April, July and October of 2018.

IMPORTANT: Please note that this test takes place during 2018. You must enroll no later than December 10, 2017. Test materials will ship at the end of January 2018, as indicated above.
