From all of us at CTS, Happy National Forensic Science Week to all professionals, students, and enthusiasts of the field! To celebrate, we’re highlighting three of our newest tests following the latest innovations in technology and methodology.

Tests 5911/2 and 5915/6: Human DNA SNP Analysis

Designed to provide an objective measure of your laboratory's SNP genotyping and data analysis performance against a group-generated consensus, this test series offers dynamic consensus reporting, peer-group analytics, and flexible substrate options available on FTA Micro Cards or cotton swabs.

Test 5461: Fracture Match (Physical Fit Examination)

Our latest cross-discipline test designed for both the firearms/toolmarks and trace evidence communities, Fracture Match (Physical Fit Examination) includes both metal and non-metal substrates for case-like skill assessments.

Test 5521: Stature Estimation

This osteometric stature estimation proficiency test allows anthropology professionals to collect measurements from an osteological replica of an adult human long bone, apply an accepted stature estimation method, and report the estimated stature, associated prediction interval, and methodology used.

None of these tests would be possible without feedback from all of our customers and input from members of the communities we serve.
