Rubber
Program Overview
The CTS Rubber Program works with standards organizations, instrument manufacturers, and technology centers to provide participants with relevant testing grounded in expertise to continuously monitor performance and prove measurement competence. Originally an expansion on the National Bureau of Standards’ (NBS, now the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST)) rubber program, complete responsibility for the operation was formally transferred to CTS in the mid-1970s, with several of the original participating organizations still enrolled in our program today.
